Terms of Use

Allies Connect is a community resource directory and engagement platform that helps families find food, housing, health resources, events, and volunteer opportunities. It is a program of Allies Way, Inc., a Georgia nonprofit organization.

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement and that your use complies with all applicable laws.

We offer three types of accounts:

• Community Members — Anyone may search and view public listings without creating an account.
• Volunteers — Individuals who create accounts to sign up for volunteer opportunities.
• Providers — Organizations that claim or register to manage listings, events, and volunteer opportunities on the Platform.

If you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Notifying us immediately at support@alliesway.org if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

If you use the Platform as a Provider, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and current information for all listings, including services, eligibility, hours, contact details, and location.
• Update listings promptly when services change, including hours, eligibility, availability, or closure.
• Not post misleading, fraudulent, discriminatory, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate content.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws in connection with your listings and activities on the Platform.
• Obtain any consents required for sharing program information on a public directory.

Providers on paid plans also agree to the Provider Subscription Terms.

Volunteers who sign up through the Platform agree to:

• Provide accurate name and contact information during signup.
• Understand that their name and contact information may be shared with the provider managing the volunteer opportunity for scheduling, reminders, attendance, and event communication.
• Contact providers directly regarding questions, accommodations, or cancellations.

Allies Connect is not a party to the relationship between volunteers and providers and is not responsible for volunteer experiences.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Platform without written permission.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security.
• Impersonate any person or organization.
• Post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or otherwise harmful.
• Use the Platform to distribute spam or unsolicited communications.

Listings on Allies Connect are provided for informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to review and maintain listing accuracy, but we do not guarantee that any listing is current, accurate, complete, or available. Community members should verify information directly with providers before visiting, applying, or attending.

Allies Connect reserves the right to review, edit, flag, hide, or remove any listing that appears inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, unsafe, or inconsistent with platform standards, at our sole discretion.

The Allies Connect platform, including its design, branding, text, graphics, and code, is the property of Allies Way, Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Providers who submit listing content represent that they have the right to post such content and grant Allies Way a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content through the Platform.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, including provider websites and resource registrations. These links are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy policies of third-party sites.

We use Supabase for data storage and Stripe for payment processing. Use of those services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALLIES WAY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT: (A) THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE; (B) ANY LISTING IS ACCURATE, CURRENT, OR COMPLETE; OR (C) USING THE PLATFORM WILL PRODUCE ANY PARTICULAR RESULT.

Allies Connect is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ALLIES WAY, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, VOLUNTEERS, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Allies Way, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify registered users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
